Brixton : Norbert Wieschollek was born on the 24th May 1971 in Oppeln. In 1983 he moved with his family to the Rheinland in Germany. Highly influenced by the first electronic disco sounds, he ended up playing his first DJ-set at Space-Club in 1988 to a large and very inspired audience of clubbers. In this moment Norbert knew that electronic music would be with him for the rest of his life. In the following years his DJ-sets took all the well-known European clubs by storm. Finally, in 1990, after several successful years behind the turntables, Norbert brought out his first record. Not long after he brought out other records on diverse record labels (Analog Records USA, Drop Bass Network, U-Turn and Electric Music Foundation). By 1994 Norbert was ready to go his own way and it was in this year that he founded the labels Holzplatten, X0X Track and Brixton. First he had a few releases, but in time Holzplatten became a platform for international DJ’s and artists in the German speaking regions. In 1997, on his Radioshow “Subsonic” (broadcast weekly on Evosonic), he would introduce the newest Electronic Dance Music releases. Norbert produced and played Techno of the widest variety, from banging Acid-Techno to the more modern, simply structured Minimal-Techno. In 1998, after some 30 releases on his label Holzplatten, Norbert founded two additional labels: Kazumi and Simple Muzik. With these two labels, Norbert wanted to give new and young artists the chance to gain recognition for their innovative music. Due to the growing demand on these labels, Norbert unfortunately doesn’t find so much time to produce his own records anymore. However, if Brixton is ever playing in your area or can be heard live, then it’s definitely worth a visit, purely for the music. (Discogs)

Brainsucked : Born in the pure banality of a hospital in Ličge in 1984, the direction of his life seems to turn toward drawing. While studying in Saint-Luc, he meets eCsalt who initiates him to the art of electronic music creation on PC.

During 2 years, he palpates and tates his sequencers in order to find his own universe. He cuts, pastes, arranges his d'n'b tracks which he'll only share with his friends. It is necesseray to wait until 2004 to discover more mature tracks, going from electronica to drill'n'beat.

The whole of his compositions are made on a PC. His music is influenced by great masters like Squarepusher, Aphex Twin, Venetian Snares. But also Flashbulb or Unit. Punk and Ska bands like RX Bandits, Streetlight Manifesto and well of others still, who also influenced some of his tracks.

Since 2005, he performs live and discreetly imposes himself on the Ličge scene. He meets Bioxyd and ALF who try to guide him through the modulated frequential universe and creates a collective with Camden Electronic Animals, Risin and Nevergreed called Element Elementaire.
